Popular Pakistani actress and model Humaira Asghar Ali, aged 32, was tragically found dead in her apartment located in Karachi’s Defence Housing Authority (DHA), Phase VI. Missing from the public eye for several weeks, her body was discovered by Gizri police in a rented flat in the Ittehad Commercial Area. The sudden death of the renowned artist has shocked fans and the entertainment industry alike. She got fame through the reality show Tamasha, which aired on Ary Digital. Humaira Ali also worked in drama serials like Ahsaan Faramosh and Guru. She was a strong contestant in Tamasha, and her participation made the season viral and trending. Humaira Asghar Ali had more than 700k followers on Instagram.
How Humiara was Found Dead?
DIG South Syed Asad Raza confirmed that Humaira Asghar Ali’s body had been lying in the apartment for several days, with a strong foul odor reported at the scene. Initial observations suggest the actress may have passed away around two weeks ago. However, the exact cause of death is yet to be determined. Her body has been transferred to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for a post-mortem examination and further legal formalities.
According to officials, forensic evidence was collected from the scene before the body of Humaira Asghar Ali was moved to the hospital for a post-mortem examination. Authorities revealed that the body was likely 15 to 20 days old at the time of discovery.
The shocking find came after the flat’s owner filed a case over unpaid rent, prompting a court-appointed bailiff to arrive at the apartment to carry out an eviction order. Upon entry, the decomposed body of the actress was found.
Police have stated that the exact cause of death will be confirmed after the autopsy, which is currently being conducted at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre.
